Ms. Somers' 3rd grade class, after hearing about the devastation at Aveson School of Leaders in Altadena, CA, decided to take action. Freedom Academy is collecting school supplies to ensure that the students have the tools they need for a fresh start. Each grade has created a list of supplies to help us make sure that students will have everything they need to get back to learning. Families & communities are welcome to drop off new school supplies to Freedom Academy.

During Global School Play Day, Freedom Academy Students will be given ample time for free play without the use of screens, structured games, or adult direction. The idea is to let children explore their creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interactions in a teacher-monitored, unstructured, and spontaneous environment.

Students may dress down!

Students may bring toys: Legos, blocks, stuffed animals, puppets, board games, puzzles, sports equipment, toys, etc.  Please label any items brought from home!  **NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES**

Students are not required to participate in Spirit Week.  Students opting out must wear their school uniform.

Join us for a Fundraising Event at Foley Ranch in Desert Ridge Marketplace on Tuesday, February 18th from 4 pm to 8 pm.  15% of all sales goes to Freedom Academy PTO!

Participate in our Silent Auction featuring skateboards painted by students at Freedom Academy.  The proceeds will benefit the Freedom Academy Art and Music Departments.
